Some scribblings I came up with in case folks got at all curious about m'self.

A Brief Bio of Hosun Lee

I was born in SEOUL, KOREA but moved to the states in 1982. Ever since then, I've been hanging around the suburbs of Virginia. Finally, in 1993, I entered Syracuse University, where I've been moping around for four years until graduating on May 11, 1997 with a B.A. in
Political Science and Information Studies. Right now I live in Santa Clara, CA. I'm just waiting for an earthquake to hit so it'll drive real estate prices down so I can finally get affordable housing.

I have a small but ecclectic range of hobbies. One of the foremost of mine is comic book collecting. Well, that's sort of accurate. I like buying and reading comic books. I hate taking care of them. Other hobbies include, obviously, computers. I'm not so much a computer programmer as I am a user. I hate programming. I've learned how to program before, but I always forget it as soon as I don't need to know anymore. My main use for computers is to provide me with entertainment, meaning, games.

My other, and more expensive hobby, is watching theatre shows. I love the stage. It's much better than the cinema. I'm especially fond of musical shows, like Phantom of the Opera, or my all-time favorite, LES MISERABLES. I can't get enough of Les Mis. That's my all-time
favorite present, anything related to Les Miserables. Very conveniently, NO ONE has ever gotten me anything related to Les Miserables. Dorks. Some friends you turned out to be! Stop buying me lunch, dammit, I'm materialistic, dammit, not spiritualistic.

Recently, I picked up a strategic role-playing military game called DIPLOMACY. It's by AVALON-HILL. I've been playing it via e-mail with a lot of folks from the newsgroup ALT.FAN.PRATCHETT. It's been pretty fun, conquering the world's a hoot (too bad I have never actually won the game, so I wouldn't know what it's like), but interacting with the AFPDippers has been even more fun.

My latest hobby are DVDs. Can't get enough of them. It's turned me into a bit of an audio/videophile. Mildly ironic note. I have over 40 DVDs. I have 0 DVD players. Hah. All DVD drives.

I'll read anything by TERRY PRATCHETT, even cooking guides, death threats, a listing of the amount of times he takes showers, etc. He has become my all-time favorite author.

I don't watch much regular TV nowadays. With NEWS RADIO and HOMICIDE cancelled, there's very little worth watching. Especially since I don't get CourtTV anymore and can't watch reruns of Homicide. Shows that show sparks of creativity, however, are THE PRETENDER, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, ANGEL, THE DREW CAREY SHOW and something else that I forget.

Oh yeah, and I grock Saturday Morning cartoons.
